For me, painting is a visual language. I find visual symbols in biological sources, like plant forms and cellular structures. But I also see them in manufactured patterns, such as QR codes or Ben-Day dots in printing. When you combine these organic and manufactured symbols, they form a new visual language that is undecipherable, yet understandable on an intuitive level.

Geometric Paintings
Prior to his Organic series, Andrew created a series of geometric works on canvas. These paintings are large with constructed shapes built into and protruding out of the canvases.
